Over the years I have given group talks and lectures to to hundreds of photography enthusiasts, ranging from the technical aspects of picture taking, to film photography, achieving emotional storytelling in your images, the history of the still image, beginning street photography, and much more. Recent past events have included;
The Beijing Peking University, “A Decade in the Dragon; 10 years of Photography from a Westerner in China.”
Shanghai Lida Performance University, “What Cannot Be Explained: The Introspective guide to Photography.”
TedTalks, “Small Potatoes; Street Photography of the Everyday People Around Us.”
Pechakucha, “Can You Still Buy Film For That?; Film Photography, Today.”

Talks usually range from 45 minutes to 90 minutes, with an open Q&A session afterwards, and are welcome to be recorded. If your company, academic institute or association would be interested in holding a photography talk such as this, please feel free to get in touch. We can thoroughly discuss ideas, and make sure the talk is perfect for your group. All talks will be presented in English, and a Mandarin or Cantonese speaker/translator can also be provided at a small extra fee.
